Atelier Nelson Art Workshops

Having spent many years as the SBAA Director of Education, I’ve set up many small workshops for our members. In 2008, I set up a plein air workshop for pastelist, Kim Lordier;  in 2019, I hosted pastelist, Tony Allain, for a 3 day studio workshop. We aim to provide top-level art education to help you “elevate your craft”.  As an art teacher of ages 5 – 105, I make positive learning outcomes possible for beginners as well as ‘seasoned’ creatives.   Come prepared to be challenged, learn things you weren’t sure of, experiment, enjoy the experience and camaraderie.  When the daily session starts, switch to your Right brain and absorb by taking notes, sketching, actively listening and asking insightful questions. If you have the will to learn, we will make it so. – Linda

Workshop Policies (2022)

Health and Safety:

We require proof of COVID-19 vaccination and boosters for all workshop participants. Personal protective equipment must be worn in the studio and in the field. All participants have to provide medical insurance information in advance in case of emergency. Further information will be provided to those who are registered for workshops.

Payments and Refunds:

We process registration requests in the order they are received. Workshop registrants will be issued invoices via our credit card servicer (PayPal or Square). We prefer payment via credit card. In case of a full workshop, if payment is not received by the due date, we will invite the next person on the waiting list. Our policy on cancellation is to offer a nearly full refund (less approximately 5% to cover nonrefundable fees) if there is someone on the waiting list who will fill the workshop spot.

Privacy:

Atelier Nelson, LLC will only use any personal information we have to contact you as is needed for your workshop participation and will keep your contact information only for notifications of upcoming workshops, unless you specify otherwise. We will not share or sell your personal information for any purpose. In the normal course of our business we do not see your credit card information at any time.  Workshop participants may be invited to share email addresses with each other in order to facilitate future collaboration but this is entirely at the discretion of the participants.

General:

Atelier Nelson, LLC may make changes to these policies at any time without notice.
